The story of the brand PANOS EMPORIO is to a great extent the story of its founder, Mr Panos Papadopoulos, and it is a tale of passion and total commitment. Forced to flee from his native Greece because of his political conviction, Panos created a swimwear empire in his new country Sweden in record time. Introducing the winning combination of innovative design, skillful entrepreneurship and groundbreaking marketing, he soon elevated the brand to a world-leading position.

THE DISTRIBUTORS

The Company’s distributors are carefully selected for their quality, integrity and ability to represent our brand. They include luxury department’s chains, handpicked lingerie shops, leading children’s stores, top sports chains and tax-free airport- and airline stores. Regardless of size or genre, every selected store is considered a brand ambassador of PANOS EMPORIO. Consequently, the fashion is always presented in a way that reflects the brands core values.

In 2019 Syversen AS/AB acquired swimwear brand Panos Emporio.

 

The news has excited Panos Papadopoulos, Panos Emporio’s founder, who has guided his label over the last 33 years and will continue to lead design and innovation at Panos Emporio. 

“The Syversen family understands what I’ve worked to achieve with my brand. Panos Emporio is about happiness, love and quality, things that connect people. I want to make that even stronger which is time consuming. Now I can focus on the ingredients that make Panos Emporio truly special.” says Panos.

 

He believes this is the next stage of his label’s evolution, and a partnership with Syversen secures the company’s continued growth.

“Fashion distribution has become incredibly complex in today’s world, and Syversen will make sure our customers get even better support in the future.” he says. “They share my values and they know how best to get us into new markets, while supporting our existing ones”

Customers can expect to see the new developments during 2019. Long-time followers of Panos’s and Panos Emporio’s Instagram accounts may have already noticed a new creative energy, and Panos says there is more of this to come.

 

Product manager Hans Erik Syversen is happy with the partnership. “We have been looking for a swimwear label for some time, and purchasing a brand has been a strategic decision we made some time ago. We are really impressed with what Panos has achieved both in his home market Sweden, and internationally. We look forward to the future developing Panos Emporio!
